Defender Aaron Pugh has left Dorchester Town and rejoined Truro City, the club has revealed.
The willowy defender, voted player of the season in 2011 by City's independent supporters association, left Truro for Conference South club Dorchester last year.
But with the Magpies' debts totalling more than £150,000 they have been forced to reduce their wage bill and put all their players up for sale.
Pugh is joined at Truro by Dorchester forward Ben Watson.
In a statement, Dorchester said: "“The club is naturally sad to see the players leave, but would like to wish them nothing but the best for the future and thank them for their time at the club.”
Pugh tweeted: "Sad to be leaving @DorchTownFC especially after such a great season last year. Best of luck to everyone at the club at this difficult time"
