CORNWALL picked up another win in the Middleton Cup by beating Somerset 122 – 107 in St Austell.
The large gap came down to C Binny’s rink winning by 28 – 7 while two other rinks won by one point each.
The visitors were able to win two rinks but were not able to overturn the deficit.
By winning the match, Cornwall picked up 16 points while Somerset returned home with six to their name.
On Saturday Cornwall play Dorset in the final group game of they competition with the Duchy still having a chance of making the national final if they win.
