SENIOR members of Falmouth Golf Club brought home a prize on Saturday after winning the much sought after Harry Champion Trophy.
A field of 96 players took to the field at the Point at Polzeath for the final.
Falmouth seniors entered two teams in the competition and their B team managed to reach the final.
On a day when the weather could not have been better, the pairings of David Gibbons and Pete Brierley, the seniors captain, Alan Price and David Walsh, Graham Buck and Ken Arch and Brian Norris and Chris Dowling all performed well and did not lose a match.
Their success on the course helped their side win by a clear four points from Killiow golf club in second place and Holsworthy in third.
