IN the Penryn-Falmouth and District Pool League's World Rules Triples competition, only one quarter-final result came through with M Young, N Young, and C Southworth winning 5-1 against A Williams, P Robinson and C Topley.
They will play S Munday, D Ball and A Gould in the semi-finals who had a walkover in their quarter-final.
In the old EPA Rules Triples quarterfinals, Mike Lythgoe, Ian Hallam and Ian Snowdon won 5-3 against Paul Cox, Paul Willetts and Matt Charman to make it through to the semi-finals.
Gareth Thomas, Jason Hill and Mike Haley beat Monica Churcher, Kenny Churcher and Val Hunt 5-0, and will play Tim Snell, Malcolm Burley and Simon Smith in the semi-finals. They beat Richard Bannister, Chris Averiss and Barry Harding 5-0.
World Rules league fees are to be paid at the secretary's address by January 28.
