A DOMINANT performance was put in by Truro Hockey Club's ladies team as they fired five past Penzance on Saturday.
Tamar Hosking's hat-trick and a brace from Amy Ellis, who produced a wonderful display with the stick throughout the game, ensured the team chalked up their first victory of the season.
The visitors had the majority of possession throughout the game but still had to show good defensive work too, including a period where Penzance had four short corners early on in the second half.
It was not such a good day for their male colleagues as the first team were beaten 3-1 at North Devon, with Jack Carr scored Truro's goal in the match
