A CHANGE at the top of the Mining Division Snooker League has occurred after a top of the table clash.
Godolphin Club and STR Clinton took on each other in the latest round of fixtures in Division One and it was the latter who took home the spoils with a 3-2 win.
The victory sees them go above Godolphin, who were missing a player due to illness, by one point.
It was the first defeat of the season for Godolphin and the score was the same in the match involving Breage, who lost to Lanner.
There was another table top clash in Division Three which also saw a change in the league leaders.
Stithians overtook St Day after recording a 4-1 win at home.
In Division Two, Porthleven were at the wrong end of a 5-0 whitewash against St Ives.
