CORNWALL rugby bosses have made two changes to the County's starting line-up for their County Championship match with Kent on Saturday.

Coming into the side, who beat Gloucestershire 27-8 last weekend, are Saltash winger Max Venables who replaces Steve Johns and hooker Jamie Salter is in for Redruth's Richard Brown.

Camborne's Tony Whittle, who was a late replacement for Damien Cook before their win on Saturday, keeps his place in the second row.

Coach Ian Morgan said the side will be working hard on the training pitch before going to Gravesend.

Morgan said: "Although we won the match against Gloucestershire there were areas of our game that we need to work on during this week.

"We had much of the play up front and a good defensive pattern, however we know we still need to improve our game to beat a well drilled Kent team."
