GOLFERS had to fight against a stiff breeze coming from the sea as they played for the AP Herbert Cup at Mullion.
The competition saw teams of two tackle the course and its testing conditions, although the weather did not deter a large field from entering.
After the final balls were putted, the scoreboard showed Jamie Sanders and Matt Lee had claimed the top prize with their nett score of 66.
Coming second were Alex and Paul McHugh, who finished 1.5 points behind the champions, while Andy Pengelly and Jamie Sanders ended up in third place on 68.
