HELSTON'S Walter C Parsons Funeral Directors League Cup fixture at St Blazey has been brought forward to next Friday, September 16.

It was originally planned for Saturday the 17th, but the Blues are staging a County Youth match at Kellaway Parc on Saturday, while St Blazey FC's clubhouse is hosting a wedding.

The evening game will kick off at 7.30pm and sees a quick return to mid-Cornwall for Sid Taylor's men, who won 2-0 in the league at Blaise Park on Saturday.

Tomorrow sees some tough tests for local sides, with the Blues entertaining unbeaten Plymouth Parkway, while in-form Falmouth Town travel to champions Bodmin Town in the league's top match of the day.

Falmouth are currently in fourth spot in the table, three points and two places ahead of the Priory Park outfit.

Andrew Westgarth's men are in action again on Wednesday when they host St Austell.

In Division 1 West, Porthleven and Wendron Utd host Millbrook and bottom side Vospers Oak Villa respectively, while Penryn, who suffered their first defeat of the season at home to Mousehole on Wednesday, travel to Dobwalls.

On Wednesday Penryn are in derby action at home to Wendron, while Kev Richards' Fishermen entertain Mousehole.
