Penryn RFC are excited to be able to reveal full information about this year's Sevens – the only Cornish leg of the RFU 24/Sevens competition.
The exciting event offers not only affordable entry fees, but extremely generous prize money – as entry starts at £100 (including two nights' camping), with prize money up to £950 available for the men's open level champions.
There will be three competitions taking place – men's open, ladies' and social level.
The event gets underway on Good Friday, March 30 with Royal Wootton Bassett U15s taking on Penryn U15s at 2pm, before the traditional Easter 15 a-side game between Penryn 1st XV and touring side Old Dunstonians at 4pm.
At 6pm a Penryn Veterans side will be taking on an England Select Vets outfit.
The RFU 24/Sevens action then gets underway from 10:30am on Saturday morning with the men's open preliminary round and ladies' prelims.
A disco will take place in the evening in a marquee with bars open all day.
Sunday sees the beginning of the social sevens competition from 10:30am, with the finals of all three competitions taking place at 3pm.
The evening sees team fancy dress and live music from Small Wonder.
