Falmouth and Penryn boxer Callum Powell travelled to Devonport on Saturday evening to box against St Austell ABC's Joe Egan.
Egan being much taller and experienced came straight out from the opening bell to stop Powell in the opening round.
Powell showed why he has won all of his previous bouts by using his superior skill to leave his opponent hitting fresh air and chasing shadows.
Egan continued to fight back despite nearly being out on his feet by the end of the second round.
Powell won the contest by a unanimous decision proving to be a young boxer to look out for over the next few years.
