STORM Emma has left it's mark on Falmouth Town Football Club after ripping off part the clubhouse stand's roof.

Vicious easterly winds last night lifted off the corrugated sheet and deposited it on to two cars, which had been left in the car park because of heavy snowfall yesterday. Damage is only believed to be minor.

A garage door at the ground was also blown off, while some of the floodlights are also not working. It is not known whether that problem is weather-related.

The floodlight problem has resulted in next Friday night's scheduled SWPL Premier derby against Helston Athletic being moved back to Saturday afternoon.

The Senior Cup semi-final between Mousehole and St Austell, which is due to be played at Bickland Park on Wednesday, is also subject to change, with Helston's Kellaway Park being cited as an potential alternative.

Town's trip to Cullompton in SWPL Premier tomorrow has been postponed.
