MIDFIELDER Martyn Duff became Falmouth Town's second signing of the summer this week.

The 21 year-old has followed former Sticker team mate Jack Bowyer (see below) to Bickland Park after having an impressive debut season in SWPL Premier.

"With Jack Webber going to university he's an ideal replacement for him," said boss Andrew Westgarth.

"Like Jack, he's full of energy, he can pick a pass and is box to box.

"Martyn already knows some of the lads here anyway but coming from Sticker with Jack will really help him to fit in well."

Westgarth has had his eye on one or two other players in the close season and added that "we always leave the door open" regarding more signings.

Town begin pre-season training in early July before visiting Perranporth in their first friendly on Friday, July 13.

They then embark on a packed schedule before the start of the season, taking on Truro City and Plymouth Parkway as well as the four-team Dave Gardner Trophy involving Helston Athletic, Porthleven and Penzance.
