St Day beat Perranporth 4-2 to take their opponents' place at the top of the Combination League on Saturday.
Gavin Boon put the hosts in front before winning a penalty which Dan Richards converted to double the lead.
Ed Wilton replied for Perranporth before Tyler Oliver restored the two-goal cushion, with Wilton netting another but Boon sealed the win in injury-time.
Penryn Athletic edged out Illogan RBL to move up to third in the division.
Bradley Leivers’ powerful first-half header was the difference, although Illogan saw an effort cleared off the line after the break.
Falmouth Town remain level on points with Penryn after they beat St Just 2-0 at Lafrowda Parc.
Gavin Perraton’s lob put Town in front early on before a wonderful solo effort from Ben Kellow secured the win.
Lizard Argyle ended a run of four straight defeats by beating St Agnes 3-0.
Ben Casley’s seventh goal of the season gave Argyle a half-time lead before Ryan Tonkin doubled the advantage after the break, with Casley scoring again late on.
Helston Athletic dropped to fifth after losing 2-1 to local rivals Mullion at Kellaway Park.
Tom Bryant opened the scoring early in the second half only for Helston to hit back ten minutes later through Fraser Patterson.
But a superb 40-yard strike from Chris Blee won the game for the visitors.
Perranwell came from behind to beat Wendron United at Underlane.
Jack Noy put Wendron ahead with a fine lobbed effort for his eighth strike of the season but Adam Selley levelled in the second half before Joe Ibbs-George struck the winner with 12 minutes to go.
Pendeen Rovers beat Carharrack 3-0, with Chris Whittaker scoring the opener before an own goal put the hosts two up. Jack Ralph added the third to ensure Rovers move up to ninth.
Hayle triumphed 1-0 at home to Redruth United thanks to top-scorer Cameron Irish's 12th goal of the season.
