FALMOUTH Town Reserves had two own goals to thank as they squeezed past bottom club Carharrack on Saturday.

Rhys Allen also scored in a 3-1 win, while Mark Woolcock replied for the improving hosts.

Town won 14-1 when the sides met at Bickland Park in September.

Charlie Young scored a hat-trick as Helston Athletic Reserves thrashed West Cornwall 7-0.

Jowan Shainberg scored twice while Tyler Cooke and Dan Stidwell added a goal each for the second-placed side.

Dan Richards also bagged a treble as St Day won 6-2 at home to St Just. Luke Hart, Tyler Oliver and Jake Williams also scored for the Saints.

Neil Curnow and Kameron Collins replied for St Just.

Ed Wilton went one better than Young and Richards, scoring four as St Agnes earned a 7-3 win at home to Porthleven Reserves.

Russell May scored twice as Penryn Athletic won 3-0 at Lizard Argyle. Bradley Leivers also scored as Penryn maintain fifth spot.

Josh Magin scored twice as St Ives Town beat Redruth United 4-1 on Saturday.

Curt Richards and Joe Day also scored for the visitors, who move up to sixth in the division.

Illogan RBL earned a 3-1 win at home to Pendeen Rovers, with a Matt Roberts brace and a strike Jack Adams sealing the points. Silas Sullivan replied for Pendeen.
