Borough beaten but hope not lost
Penryn 6, Gloucester Old Boys 12
GLOUCESTER Old Boys maintained their unbeaten record and their challenge to Taunton in a hard fought Courage League South West Division Two game.
Full back Andrew Broady was off target with an easy penalty shot for the visitors, but he was able to convert the try scored by centre Russ Ellis after the best movement of the game.
The Borough reduced the lead when Symon Winnan kicked a penalty goal and after the interval he added another to cut the visitors' lead to a single point.
Right on time flanker Chris Dunn kicked ahead and from the subsequent throw-in number eight Kevin Hemmings scrambled Gloucester's second try to make certain of yet another win.

Millbrook stun ineffective Town
Millbrook 1, Falmouth Town 0
This shock result in the Jewson SWL Cup quarter-final has left Falmouth Town without any realistic hope of a major trophy for a second successive season.
Only eight minutes had elapsed when Millbrook scored what proved to be the winner.
Chris Long was caught out of position and left himself too much to do as Chris Matthews sped away before crossing to Derek Cox, who, with his back to the goal, turned and scored with a shot that took a wicked deflection off Tommy Matthews to leave Philp stranded.
So a season which had promised much has fallen apart in the first few weeks of the New Year and although mathematically they still have a chance in the title race, there would have to be a serious lapse in form by the leading clubs to let Town back in.
Falmouth: D Philp, C Long, T Matthews, D Gardner, P Scrace, D Northcott, I Gosling, G Hooper, J Babb, M Rowe, N Thwaites. Subs: K Roberts, D Powell.
