Falmouth and Penryn ABC were in action again last Saturday evening in Taunton on the Blue Flames ABC show.
Competing for the club was their rising young star Kaiden Symons.
The show consisted of 17 well matched contests which saw Falmouth's Symons take on the home favourite Simon Heyburn in a light heavy weight contest.
The opening round saw some slick boxing from Symons who targeted the body of Heyburn to great effect to win the first round.
The second round Symons started to clearly dominate and landed some heavy blows to Heyburn's head and body leaving his opponent hanging on to see the round out.
The third and final round had the crowd on their feet and once again Symons taking control, boxing on his front foot which resulted in Symons scoring an eight count by the referee. With Heyburn on shaken legs, Symons landed some powerful straight right hands to the head which saw the referee jump in to stop the contest and save Heyburn from taking any more punishment.
This was Symons' final contest of the season for Falmouth and Penryn ABC which has been a brilliant effort by the 20-year-old seeing him win seven bouts in a row. Symons will now compete in the national championships in September.
The club would like to thank sponsors Armada group and the Famous Barrel for their continued support.
