Wendron United picked up their third SWPL Premier West win on the bounce with a fine come-from-behind victory at St Dennis on Saturday.

Lee Rickard put the home side in front midway through the first half when he finished off a good team move, before Jacob Rowe sent the Saints into the break with a two-goal lead a few minutes later.

A rejuvenated Wendron came out firing in the second half and dominated proceedings, with Joe Chapman halving the deficit a few minutes after the restart when he slotted in Finn Robinson's cross from close range.

Despite their dominance, the Dron had to wait until around ten minutes from time to restore parity, with Michael O'Neill's shot being saved by St Dennis' 'keeper, but Jack Stocker was able to rifle home the rebound to set up a tense final few minutes.

The winning goal came in more or less the final action of the game, with a defender's attempt to clear the ball off the line following a scramble only succeeding in finding the side netting to seal Wendron's victory in the dying moments.

Elsewhere, Mousehole and St Austell played out a 1-1 draw at Trungle Parc. The Seagulls opened the scoring after ten minutes but Dan Perryman levelled the scores with his first goal for the league leaders.

Penzance continued their good form with a 2-0 win at home to Wadebridge Town. Anton Oliver and Kevin Lawrence scored for the Magpies, who move up to tenth.

Dobwalls marked their first home game of the season with a 6-0 win over Sticker. The game was the Dingos' first their Lantoom Park home since their clubhouse was partially destroyed by fire in June.
