Billy Tucker scored a hat-trick as Helston Athletic eventually overcame a spirited Sticker side in their Cornwall Charity Cup first-round tie at Burngullow Park.

Mark Goldsworthy's close-range finish was the difference between the two sides at the break before Kai Cornish doubled the lead ten minutes into the second half.

Derrick Lucas pulled one back for the hosts with a fine finish before Billy Tucker all but sealed the victory with two goals in three minutes.

Tucker completed his treble with an excellent lob soon after before Alfie Flack rounded off the scoring with five minutes to go.

Kieran Toland scored a hat-trick of his own as Mousehole recorded a comprehensive win over Porthleven at Gala Parc.

Toland capitalised on a defensive mix-up to open the scoring on 18 minutes before Rheiss McClean doubled the advantage a minute later, with Scott Imade's finish and a stunning strike from Toland giving the Seagulls a four-goal lead at the break.

Toland sealed his hat-trick just over a minute into the second half, with Paulo Sousa also netting as Mousehole eased into the quarter-finals.

Three players scored hat-tricks as a rampant Penzance put nine goals past St Dennis at Penlee Park, with the Saints offering three in reply. Anton Oliver scored twice to put the Magpies two goals up before team-mate Andreas Calleja-Stayne followed suit with two of his own.

Oliver completed his hat-trick before Jacob Cleverly notched Penzance's sixth before the break, with Carl Rickard pulling one back for the visitors in between.

Rickard netted his second in the 51st minute before Calleja-Stayne completed his own hat-trick from the spot.

Cleverly scored his second and his side's eighth before Jacob Rowe added another for the Saints, with Cleverly completing a hat-trick of hat-tricks for Penzance with the final goal of the game late on.

Saltash United needed extra-time to see off Bodmin Town in the tie of the round, with the Ashes winning 4-3 after 120 minutes at Kimberley Stadium. Dave Barker put the hosts in front from the spot on 33 minutes, only for Tallan Mitchell to level three minutes later with a fine free-kick.

Dan Jennings gave Bodmin the lead on the stroke of half-time before the same man doubled his side's advantage early in the second half.

But Barker halved the deficit for the SWPL Premier West leaders before Reece Thompson sent the game into extra-time with just two minutes to go, with Sam Farrant scoring the winner in the 104th minute to book the Ashes' spot in the last eight.

Godolphin Atlantic prevailed 6-5 on a penalty shootout at home to Camelford after the two sides drew 1-1 after extra-time at Godolphin Way. The hosts' evening took a turn for the worse when they had a man sent off midway through the first half, with Bobby Hopkinson putting the Camels in front soon after with a free-kick.

The visitors held onto their lead until the 92nd minute when a fantastic strike from distance sent the game into extra-time.

The teams could not be separated after the extra 30 minutes, with the G going on to win 6-5 on penalties.

Launceston may lay claim to earning the shock of the round on Tuesday night when they came from behind to beat second-placed St Austell 3-2 at Pennygillam.

The Lillywhites led at half-time through Matt Searle before Hayden Turner doubled the lead early in the second half.

But the hosts staged an unlikely comeback, with Chris Head, Dan Metherell and Sam Watts scoring to turn the tie around and send the Clarets through to the next round.

Newquay eased to a comfortable 5-1 victory at home to Callington Town. Cally goalkeeper Sam Borthwick saved an early penalty, but the Peppermints went on to enjoy a three-goal lead at the break thanks to goals from Alex Cole, Louis Price and Craig Ainslie.

Jose Perez made it four on the hour before Jack Bray-Evans completed the hosts’ scoring, with the visitors netting a consolation late on.

Falmouth Town earned their spot in the last eight without kicking a ball, with Liskeard Athletic forfeiting Tuesday evening’s scheduled tie earlier in the day after being unable to raise a team.
