ST AUSTELL recorded the biggest win of the Cornwall Senior Cup third round, winning 8-0 at home to St Piran League West side Mullion.

Dan Perryman scored four for the South West Peninsula League Premier West leaders, with Will Tinsley, Jake Miller (2) and an own goal completing the one-sided scoreline.

The Lillywhites' nearest league rivals Saltash United also scored eight in their thrashing of Launceston, running out 8-2 winners at Kimberley Stadium.

Ryan Richards bagged a hat-trick for the Ashes, while Reece Thomson (2), Sam Farrant, Callum O'Brien and Dave Barker also netted.

Mousehole won 6-0 at SWPL Premier West bottom side Sticker. Scott Imade and Kieran Toland scored two goals apiece, with Amara Bakayoko and Lez Cela completing the Seagulls' scoring.

St Blazey survived an upset at home to Hayle, eventually winning 3-2 after extra time at Blaise Park. Carl Rickard had given the hosts the lead but the St Piran League West side turned it around to lead 2-1.

Matt Thackeray sent the tie to extra time, where Callum McGhee popped up with the winner.

Camelford won 6-3 at home to St Dennis in the only other all-SWPL tie. Ed Harrison scored a hat-trick for the Camels, with Adam Sleep netting two and Matt Andrews nabbing the other.

Two SWPL Premier sides were beaten by lower division sides, with Penzance suffering a shock 5-1 defeat at unbeaten Combination League side Pendeen Rovers, while Godolphin Atlantic lost 3-2 at home to East Cornwall Premier League club St Cleer.

There were further wins for two SWPL sides at home to St Piran League West clubs. Liskeard Athletic beat Illogan RBL 5-1 and Dobwalls won 7-4 at home to Perranporth.

St Piran League West side St Day won 3-1 at home to East Cornwall Premier League side St Dominick. James Bloomfield put the lower league side ahead, but goals from Tom Hogarth, Luke Hart and Dan Richards secured the Saints' progression.

St Ives Town came from behind to win the all-St Piran League West tie at home to Penryn Athletic. League leaders Penryn went ahead at The Saltings through Ryan Reeve, but two goals from Josh Magin ensured revenge for the hosts, who lost to Penryn by the same score in last season's Senior Cup.

Five Senior Cup ties fell victim to the weather, with defending champions Falmouth Town's tie at home to local rivals Helston Athletic the most notable casualty.

Wendron United's game at Callington Town and Porthleven's game at home to Wadebridge Town were also postponed, as were Newquay's trip to Millbrook and Bodmin Town's tie at Torpoint Athletic.

Mark Goldsworthy scored a hat-trick as Helston Athletic reserves cruised to a comfortable 5-0 win at home to Perranwell in the St Piran League West.

Gemel Mills opened the scoring early on before Goldsworthy tapped in to make it two.

The in-form first-team striker completed his treble before the break with a header and a fine finish, with Mills completing the rout in the second half.

Elsewhere, Redruth United lost 3-1 at home to Mousehole reserves and St Agnes drew 1-1 at home to Ludgvan.

Dagan Vaughan-Spruce scored a hat-trick as Lizard Argyle continued their climb up the Combination League table with a 3-2 win at second-placed Hayle reserves.

Wendron United thirds eased to a 4-0 win at home to St Agnes reserves, while Rosudgeon drew 2-2 at home to St Day reserves.
