BILLY Tucker scored a hat-trick as Helston Athletic thrashed Liskeard Athletic 6-1 at Lux Park to secure their 15th consecutive win in the South West Peninsula League Premier West.

Tucker opened the scoring from the spot on 15 minutes after Mark Goldsworthy was fouled, before James Lorenz's penalty for the hosts was saved by Blues 'keeper Jason Robertson.

Neil Slateford doubled the advantage on 25 minutes before Tucker added his second and his side's third with a powerful strike ten minutes before the break.

Tucker completed his hat-trick with his second penalty of the day early in the second half, converting after he was fouled in the box.

Olly Brokenshire further extended the lead midway through the half with an excellent strike from outside the box before Tom Savigar pulled one back for the hosts, with Alex Wharton completing the rout in the third minute of added time.

FALMOUTH Town signed off from their Bickland Park home for 2019 with a comfortable 4-1 win over St Dennis.

David Broglino and Sam Pickup gave Andrew Westgarth's side a two-goal lead at the break, with Joe Cooper extending the lead before Jacob Rowe's late penalty gave the Saints a sniff.

They were promptly reduced to ten men when Martin Sleeman picked up a second yellow, with Martyn Duff completing the scoring for the hosts in the 90th minute.

Bodmin Town ended a run of four successive defeats with a 2-1 win at Newquay. Justin Miles put the hosts ahead from the spot on 17 minutes before Lance Bailey levelled for the visitors on the half-hour mark, with Dan Jennings netting the winner on the hour.

Bodmin are level on points with Mousehole after the Seagulls won by the same score at Camelford. Rheiss McClean put Mousehole in front after 12 minutes before Ed Harrison levelled from the spot ten minutes later, with Amara Bakayoko netting the winner shortly before half-time.
