Dean Bonds, Jess Tompsett and Matt Shepherd (2) scored the tries to secure the fifth point, with Fraser Honey kicking one conversion and a penalty.

Camborne suffered a chastening 19-48 defeat at home to South West Premier leaders Barnstaple.

Rhodri Mcatee scored two tries for the Cherry & Whites, who fall to sixth in the table.

Falmouth and Penryn both won for only the second time this season, with the Eagles beating Bideford 22-5 and the Borough winning 24-0 at home to Tiverton in the Tribute Western Counties West.

Ashley Searle, Tom Spiller and Dan Hubble scored tries for Falmouth, who rise three places to tenth in the league for the first time since September. Penryn stay in eighth but are now just six points off the top three.

Truro remain on course for an instant return to Western Counties after a 52-0 win at North Tawton put them seven points clear at the top of Tribute Cornwall/Devon.

Elsewhere, Lanner won 24-10 at home to Exeter Athletic, Veor won 25-0 at South Molton and Pirates Amateurs won 28-17 at home to Topsham.

The Cornwall Cup group stage got underway with Camborne SoM opening their account with a 17-10 win over St Agnes in Group 1, while Redruth seconds beat Hayle 51-15 on Friday night.

Camborne seconds won 34-5 at Lankelly Fowey and Helston enjoyed a 15-0 win at Roseland in Group 2.

In Group 3, Illogan Park won 36-12 at home to St Austell seconds, Perranporth beat Bude seconds 29-12 and Falmouth seconds lost 31-19 at St Just.

Redruth Albany lost 37-3 at Bodmin seconds in the only game in Group 4, after Saltash seconds' game at home to Penryn seconds was postponed, while Stithians had a walkover at home to Camelford.
