Falmouth RFC's under-14s team are leading the way with a new initiative aimed at raising awareness of men's mental health.

The team has received a new kit adorned with the 'Let's talk about it'slogan of Cornish based group Man Down, who offer a safe space to meet the current emotional and mental health needs of men who are struggling to cope with everyday pressures.

The idea is to inform the rugby clubs that Falmouth face about the nearest Man Down meeting, giving men a chance to talk about their mental health issues.

All meetings are fortnightly at 7pm, with the Falmouth meetings taking place on Wednesdays at Falmouth Town Barbers on Killigrew Street. The next meeting is next Wednesday, January 22.

Camborne's meet-up is at Revive (Elim Church) on every other Tuesday, while Redruth's meetings are on Thursdays at Hamilton's Barbershop on Fore Street.

Penryn's meetings are at the Cscape Pilates, Sunflower Studios on Commercial Road on Sundays, with Truro's meetings on the same night at Lifetime Therapy Centre on Lemon Street, while Helston's are at Andy's Barbers on Thursdays.
