NEWLY-APPOINTED Kernow Football Alliance coach Andrew Westgarth says it was 'a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' to join the team for the CONIFA World Football Cup this summer.
Falmouth Town boss Westgarth was approached by Bodmin Town and Kernow manager Darren Gilbert earlier in the week about joining the coaching staff for the tournament, and his appointment was confirmed at Sunday's World Football Cup squad announcement press conference.
In an exclusive interview with the Packet, Westgarth discusses his decision to join the team and the job of balancing it with his role at Town, and gives his thoughts on the squad announcement.
