The Trelawny Football League is searching for three people to join its management team.

The league, which currently runs four divisions and several cup competitions, is looking for people to fill the positions of league secretary, registration secretary and results secretary for the 2020/21 season and beyond.

The league secretary will be the main point of contact for communications, with some tasks including convening and keeping record of all Meetings, controlling affiliations (from member clubs and to Cornwall FA), and addressing other administration duties as and when needed or due.

The registration secretary will be responsible for players’ registrations and transfers. They will also be tasked with controlling, verifying and maintaining the league’s records and any relevant statistics via the FA Whole Game/Full-Time systems. They will also be a liaison clubs, county & national FAs and fellow members and officers of the league.

The results secretary's main responsibility will be handling match results, and will control, verify and maintain the league records principally for league tables again via the FA Whole Game/Full-Time systems. They will have a liaison role similar to that of the registration secretary, with the addition of publication thereon when opportunity arises in the press and/or social media.

Interested people will need to be competent in IT/computer skills but training can be provided, in particular for working with the FA Whole Game/Full-Time systems.

Likewise, they should also have good communication skills as each post holder will be expected to work as a Team Member within the League’s Management Structure. Honorarium and reimbursement of expenses are also available.

If you are already actively involved with a club, you can still become involved with the league.

All of these posts would be permanent appointments and would have to be agreed by the clubs at the AGM, so at this stage it really is just about showing an interest in one (or more) of these roles.

If you are interested then email Gerald Munden, chairman of the Trelawny Football League, at g_munden@sky.com, expressing which post(s) you are interested in.
