There is Cornwall Senior Cup action this weekend as the trophy gets underway for the 2021/22 season.

In the early kick off at 2pm Helston Athletic travel to South West Peninsula League (SWPL) West side Wadebridge. They will be looking to return to winning ways after surrendering a two goal lead to draw 3-3 against Millbrook on Wednesday night. Read the report of that game here.
Elsewhere in the cup Jack Bray-Evans could make his Falmouth Town debut as they take on St Dennis at Bickland Park. The forward made the switch from SWPL rivals Newquay and is already into double figures for league goals this season. Falmouth have won all 12 games they have played in all competitions so far this campaign

There is also a local derby in the SWPL as Wendron United host Penryn Athletic at Underlane. Both sides come into the game on a winning run after Penryn defeated bottom placed St Dennis 8-1 in the league last time out.

Meanwhile Wendron defied the odds to beat Western League Division One side Bishop Sutton 2-1 to progress to the next round of the FA Vase, before beating St Dennis 3-2 in the league on Tuesday night.

Helston Athletic Women begin their FA Women's Vitality Cup journey on Sunday when they travel to face Torquay United Women in the first round of the competition.

There is no game for Helston Women's Development side in the Cornwall Women's Football League, but Wendron United Women will have the opportunity to get their first win of the season when they play against Wadebridge Town.

Penryn Ladies face an away trip to Callington Town. Penryn have only played once this season and drew 1-1 to Mousehole.
