Penryn Athletic will be hoping to put an end to an unwanted four match winless run in their next South West Peninsula League game but face tough opposition in second-placed Camelford.

The teams:

Both teams have won just one of their last five games in all competitions heading into this match. In their last match Penryn were twenty minutes away from what would have been a vital three points against St Blazey. But their 2-1 lead was wiped out following a red card and the Kernick Road side ended up losing the match 2-4.

Scoring goals hasn't been a problem for Penryn though, in fact they have bagged a goal in every game they have played in this season. They are the fourth highest scorers in the division finding the back of the net 45 times so far this campaign.

Camelford returned to winning ways in their last match when they came out trumps in a 4-3 thriller against 15th placed Godolphin. They trail league leaders Falmouth by nine points and have played four games more than Town.

The last time the sides went head to head this season it was Camelford who claimed all three points at Kernick Road with a 2-1 victory.

Previewing the fixture Penryn Athletic Manager Harry Pope said: "Our December is St Blazey at home, Camelford away, Bodmin home, Falmouth Town away. As far as a month's fixtures go they don't come much harder than that! But again we will do exactly the same as what we have been doing, we will go up there and give everything we can.

"We will have a game plan and make sure we try and go up there and be tighter at the back and try not to concede silly goals and then on the attack look to try and score.

"There is no need to go there and fear them and try and park the bus and stop them scoring we want to go there, impose ourselves on the game and have a go at them."
