There was some heavy scoring in the Kernow Stone St Piran League division two with Penzance Reserves leading the way with a huge 11-1 win away to St Day III, writes Leon Prynn. 

On target for the Magpies was Kyeron Snowden who scored the first of his two goals in the opening minute, Fin Sharp (3), Tjay Price (2), George Steadman, Andy Withers, Harvey Richings and Tyler Smith.

Leaders Illogan RBL Reserves continue to rack up big scores and handed St Buryan a 8-1 defeat after scoring through Jack Vandersluys (3), Will Hart (2), Tristan Ashley, Jon Ayres and Matt Roberts. Saints scored through Connor Nicholls.

New Inn Titans are right on their tails after they polished off Falmouth United 3-1 after scoring through Josh Symons, Nico Penfold and Jack Pacy. United scored through Benjamin Wills-Mack.

A slightly flattering result, but the Stithians revival continues at pace as they accounted for Perranwell Reserves 3-0 with goals from Treve Bale (2) and Tom Furse.

Redruth United were also 3-0 winners after beating Constantine with goals from Joel Heard, Zack Heard and James Petty.

Dropship lost their first game of the season in division three when they were beaten 3-1 at leaders Probus. Sam Bullen helped himself to two goals with the other goal coming from Dan Vincent.

Falmouth DC were narrow 3-2 winners at Lizard Argyle after Zach Maunder (2) and Ryan Richardson scored the goals. Matt Cowie and Colin Kettle replied for Argyle.

Lanner pulled off a 3-0 win over Goonhavern and St Keverne won 3-2 against St Ives Mariners. After a goalless first half George Wake, Ben Smitherham and Joshua Broom scored for St Keverne.

Tom Beard and Stuart Lugg had Mariners’ goals Holmans SC were 4-1 winners away to RNAS Culdrose Reserves after netting goals through Liam Phillips (2), Marcus Peters and Nathan Williams. Connor Walker scored for Culdrose.

St Erme won a tight battle against Wendron United IV 2-1 after notching goals through Freddie Murley and Thierry Murley. Guill McIvor replied for United.

Having lost three points for an infringement in division four, St Just Reserves are back at the top of the table following a 8-2 win over Lizard Argyle Reserves.

Pendeen Rovers Reserves also had a big win – 8-4 against Dropship Reserves with Kalon Mayes (4), Liam Wallis, Dom Wilcox and two own goals the scorers.

Wendron United VI went down 6-1 at home to Troon Reserves. Elliott Thomas scored for United.

Constantine Reserves and Helston Raiders shared the points after drawing 3-3 with Luke Symons, Jamie Shone and Jon Almond scoring for Constantine and Robert Tann (2) and Liam Frew replying for Raiders.

In the first round of the Bond Timber Cornwall Junior Cup, division four outfit Mullion III caused an upset when they defeated division two side Newlyn Non-Athletico 3-2 with two goals from substitute Archie Rutterford and the other from Bailey Stuart.

Mawnan Reserves made it into the second round after a hard-fought 6-4 win at Frogpool/Cusgarne. The visitors’ goals came from a Jago Taylor hat-trick, Greg Hobbs (2), and Seb Hennessy. Pool’s goals came from Elliott Jolly, Adam Merrick, Andy Mitchell and Jay Deacon.

Storm reached the second round after a narrow 5-4 win at Chacewater with the goals coming from a Conner Clark hat-trick and a brace from Colin Manley.

Penryn Athletic Reserves visited Perranporth for a second successive week and pulled off a second successive 5-4 win at Ponsmere through a Liam Dent hat-trick and goals from Dan Reeve and Jason Roberts. Perran scored through Brandon Light (2), Dan Gilbert and Dan Cox.
