ONE of the best performances of the day in the Kernow Stone St Piran’s League division two (West) was bottom club St Buryan’s 1-1 draw with unbeaten New Inn Titans.

Connor Arthur scored for Titans and Bobby Lee Johns snapped up the Saints’ goal. 
As a result league leaders Illogan RBL Reserves extended their lead after they chalked up a 4-1 win over visitors Constantine. Jack Vandersluys (2), Sam Lampard and Callum Smith had their goals.

Chacewater pulled off their second win of the season when they ran out 4-1 winners at Perranwell Reserves. Callum Edgcombe scored for Perran.

Redruth United Reserves got back to winning ways with a 5-1 win against Frogpool/Cusgarne and Falmouth United cruised to a 7-2 victory against St Day III after scoring through Haydon Webber (3), Reuben Talbot, Alfie Rollason, Archie Beckinsall and Mike Rollason.

Lizard Argyle put on a remarkable performance in division three when they held visiting league leaders Probus to an amazing 5-5 draw after trailing 5-1.

Goals from Sam Pullen (2), Adam Bishop, Ben Emmett and Connor Rhodes gave Probus an impressive 5-1 lead, but their game just fell apart as Argyle bounced back to earn a point with goals from Kai Tutton-Gane, Owen Williams, Matt Woodsford Tristan Hawkings and Ashley Copeman.

There was a goal fest in division four with Wendron United V trouncing Lizard Argyle Reserves 7-0. Elliott Thomas (3), Matt Hemelik, Tom Orchard, Lucas Royle and Barry Taylor notched the goals.

Dan Gilbert, Francis Nevin and Sam Etherington scored for Perranporth in their 3-1 win away to Dropship Reserves which sees them move to the top of the table.
Helston Raiders were up against it in the Percy Stephens Cup as Dropship raced to a 16-0 win with Tyler Prescott scoring seven goals and Ben Kellow 6 goals. Liam Chinn, Brodie Kemp and Paul Robertson had the other goals.

Frogpool/Cusgarne Reserves proved too strong for St Erme and won 5-1. Max Starn had Saints’ goal.

Mullion III were convincing 7-1 winners against Troon Reserves. James Kaye (3), Seth Rutterford (2), Bailey Stuart and Dan Bradshaw were the home team’s scorers.

Goonhavern Athletic proved no match for Holmans SC who chalked up a 5-0 win with a brace of goals each from Liam Phillips and Nathan Williams and a goal from Callum Faulkner.
In a delayed Bond Timber Cornwall Junior Cup tie Carharrack were 3-0 winners away to St Keverne.
