Premier League football in Cornwall weekly match roundup

A second half goal from Dan Parker eased Porthleven past St Mawgan 1-0, but Mousehole Development were convincing 5- winners away to Callington Town Reserves with their goals coming from Josh Magin (2), Louis Preston, Matt Stephens and Ned Symons.

Illogan RBL and Torpoint Athletic Reserves ended their game all square at 1-1 with Tom Rothwell’s late goal being cancelled out in injury time by Steve Abbot Smith. It was Torpoint who won the penalty shootout with the last of the five spot kicks.

Camborne SoM put in a battling performance against high-riding East Division side Napean Rovers before going down 2-1. Callum Oldham and Harry Wilshaw scored for Rovers.

St Ives Town proved a big test for unbeaten premier division (East) league leaders St Dominic before going down 3-2.

Two second-half goals by Robert Court and Daryl Panter enabled Gunnislake to pull off a 3-1 win at Ludgvan. Jacob Hobson had the first-half goal that was cancelled out by Ludgvan’s Dan Pope.

In the Tracy Banfield Cup Penryn Athletic had a clear-cut 4-1 win against St Agnes after scoring through Kyle Cooke (2), Rob Wearne, and Noah Holmes.
The only league game in division one (West) saw St Day Reserves draw 4-4 with Helston Athletic Development 2.
