NEW Inn Titans maintained their place at the top of the Kernow Stone St Piran’s League division two (West), but their 3-2 win against Chacewater was far from comfortable, writes Leon Prynn.

Having dropped out of the league and then having a change of mind earlier in the season, Chacewater have really turned it around and have been putting in some quality performances. Chris Ward, Rob Penfold and Connor Arthur had the goals for Titans.

Redruth United Reserves are still in the title hunt following their 1-0 win away to St Buryan and Falmouth United’s Mike Rollason was on target with two goals as United beat visiting Perranwell Reserves 2-1 with the visitors scoring through Ben Rapsey.

Stithians came out on top 4-2 at Frogpool/Cusgarne and a plucky St Day III were unable to stem the tide of goals in their game at Mawnan Reserves where they went down to a 11-0 defeat following goals by Jack Blakeston (3), Will Harding (2), Tom Campbell (2), Dominic Pullen (2), Joe Nancarrow and an own goal.

St Ives Mariners had a useful 4-2 win against Lanner in division three with the goals coming from Liam Taylor (2), Tom Bird and Matt Probin.

Tom Johnston scored for St Keverne at home to Falmouth DC, but it was the visitors who ran out 3-1 winners with goals from Ashley Farrow, Callum Pentecost and Ben Glanville.

Lizard Argyle gave a good display away to Wendron United IV to run out 4-1 winners with goals from Ashley Copeman (2), Tristan Hawkings and Charles O’Connell. Ant Brown scored for United.

There was a full fixture list in division four with leaders Perranporth beating St Just Reserves 5-0 with a hat-trick from Brandon Light and goals from Dan Gilbert and Daniel Cox.

Penryn Athletic Reserves won 7-3 away to Dropship Reserves with Dan Reeve (2), Jason Roberts (2), Bradley Southeard, Paul Jeffery and Dean Goulding scoring for Athletic.

Mullion III raced to a 7-0 win at Constantine Reserves after notching goals through James Kaye (2), Seth Rutterford (2), Nathan Davison, Perran Hobson and James Whymark.

Storm went down 4-2 at Pendeen Reserves after scoring both goals through Tom Ford. Pendeen’s goals came from Ross Bryant, Kalon Mayes, Charlie Harry and Liam Wallis.

Frogpool-Cusgarne Reserves won 4-0 at Lizard Argyle Reserves and Troon Reserves and Wendron United V shared the points after a 3-3 draw at Grouter Park with Patrick Hopson, Ashley Pascoe and Tom Orchard scoring for United.
