AS expected, rain was the real winner in the Kernow Stone St Piran League with just three premier division games surviving the winter onslaught.

One of the three games saw Mullion Reserves deal a huge blow to Illogan RBL’s title hopes with their second league win of the season with a narrow but crucial 1-0 victory.

Perranwell travelled to the far west to play Pendeen Rovers and made their trip well worthwhile with a 2-1 win. The goals came from Lachlan Brace and Danhi Harvey.

St Just stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with a 3-1 win over Wendron United Reserves. All the goals came in the first half.

Just two games were called off in division one with Troon back on top of the table after a 1-0 win at Camborne SoM.

Praze-an-Beeble moved up into second place after they had a convincing 5-2 win away to St Day III with the goals coming from Alexandru Zamaneagra, Logan Hotton and Sam Charlton.

The top game of the day was at West Cornwall where the home side drew 3-3 with St Ives Town. Robertas Sumnauskas, Ben Dawe and Owain Barrett scored for West Cornwall with Ross Duncan, Fred Horsell and Beau Stevens replying for Town.

Scott McElwee scored a first half goal for Wendron III in their 4-0 win over Helston Development 2 with Lee Smith, Zach Alexander and Justin Searle adding second-half goals.
