Cup football was the order of the day in the Kernow Stone St Piran League with the Cornwall Intermediate Cup throwing up a couple of shock results, writes Leon Prynn. 

RNAS Culdrose visited premier division outfit Porthleven and came away with a splendid 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Dan Hindmarsh.

West Cornwall also managed to down a premier division side when they won 7-6 on penalties after drawing 3-3 after extra time with St Just with Robertas Sumnauskas, Monty Cloutman and Ryan Weeks snapping up their goals.

Hayle moved into the next round with a convincing 5-0 win against Redruth United.

In the Tracy Banfield Cup Falmouth Town reached the semi-finals after overcoming Eastern premier league side St Mawgan 3-1 with goals from Kian Thomas, Max Everall and Darren Davey.

Praze-an-Beeble moved to the top of division one after demolishing Troon 5-1 with goals from Jacob Paul (2), Jack Mankee, Luke Carroll and Dan Bray.

Hayle Reserves had a comfortable 6-0 win away to Threemilestone and St Agnes Reserves and Camborne SoM shared the points after a 2-2 draw.

In the George Evely Cup Mawnan saw off a potential banana skin after beating New Inn Titans 5-0. The goals came from Luke Wort (2), Jago Taylor, Dom Pullen and a superb strike from 16-year-old Jude Hogg making his first-team debut.

Illogan RBL Reserves returned to the top of the Kernow Stone St Piran League division two following a narrow 2-1 win against Newlyn Non-Athletico. They sit at the top by virtue of a single goal difference.

St Buryan went down 2-1 at home to Frogpool/Cusgarne and Redruth United won 3-0 away to Chacewater.

In the Bond Timber Cornwall Junior Cup Falmouth United are through to the quarter-finals after an emphatic 6-2 win away to Bodmin Town Reserves. There was six different goalscorers – Callum Jewell, Reece Toms, Cameron Hamshaw, Mike Rollason, Sam Spencer and Ben Wills-Mack.

Perranwell Reserves’ cup run ended with a 3-0 defeat at Bude Town Reserves after the home side scored through Steve Box, Louis Steege and Jago Tweitman.

Probus extended their lead at the top of division three after a 2-0 success at Wendron United IV. George Truscott and Harry Vincent scored their goals.

Holmans SC lost ground after they went down 3-0 at home to Dropship after the visitors scored through Josh Miller, Tyler Prescott and Toby Webb.

Goals from Cal Pearson and Dylan Tiddy (2) earned Carharrack a 3-3 draw at Falmouth DC who scored through Ryan Richardson (2) and Ben Glanville.

Goonhavern Athletic and St Keverne also shared the points after drawing 1-1 with Tommy Price scoring a last-minute equaliser for the Saints. Jayden Andrew scored for Athletic.

Making up a hat-trick of draws was Lizard Argyle and RNAS Culdrose Reserves who finished with a 0-0 result.

It was quite the opposite at St Erme where the home side won a high-scoring 4-3 game against in-form Lanner with goals from Brandon McDonnell (2), Sam Rogers and Kyle Savin.

Troon Reserves gave a great display to earn a 1-1 draw with division four leaders Penryn Athletic Reserves.

Mullion III had an excellent 4-1 win at Storm after notching goals through Drew Chambers, Ben Harvey, Dan Bradshaw and Joe Willey. Colin Manley scored for Storm.

Constantine Reserves were well in the game at Pendeen Reserves, but they conceded three second half goals to go down 3-0. Isaac Joy, Kalon Mayes and Liam Wallis had the goals.

Frogpool/Cusgarne Reserves were comfortable 5-1 winners against Lizard Argyle Reserves after Kayne Trevaskis notched four goals and Will Waterton the other.

St Just Reserves edged a tight game with Wendron United V 3-2. Tom Greenaway and Elliott Thomas scored for United.
