WITH their nearest rivals drawing their games in the Kernow Stone St Piran League premier division, St Day took full advantage by extending their lead at the top of the table.

They won a high-scoring match 5-4 in a thriller of a game at Pendeen Rovers where the home side scored through Alex Ralph (2), William Garner and Jason Simon.

Illogan RBL were held to a 1-1 draw by Helston Athletic Development One with Simon Ellis scoring a second half equaliser for Illogan but  Mousehole Development and Porthleven failed to muster a goal between them in a 0-0 draw.

A goal 15 minutes from time by Jack Rutterford earned Mullion Reserves a 1-0 win at Perranwell and St Just came away with the points from their visit to Hayle with a 2-1 win.

There was a tight game at Clijah where Penryn Athletic pipped Redruth United 2-1 with goals from Kirk Davies and Ben Williams. Max Medlin scored for United.

St Ives Town’s division one title hopes suffered a setback at Mawnan where they went down 6-3 after opening the scoring. In a cracking encounter Mawnan scored through Ben Richardson, Luke Wort (2), Jago Taylor (2), and Ben Harris. Town replied through Joe Cross, Oakley Clary-Brom and Kieran Eastwood.

Praze-an-Beeble march on at the top of the table following their 5-2 win at Porthleven Reserves with goals from Alexandru Zamaneagra (2), Stephen Tremayne, Oliver Hawkey and Andy House. Joe Bray and Sam Collins scored for Port.

Camborne School of Mines shared the points with Wendron United III after a 3-3 draw. Brett Andrew (2) and Scott McElwee scored for United.

Hayle Reserves had a narrow 1-0 win at St Day Reserves after a goal by Joan Watts and St Agnes Reserves and Troon drew 2-2.
RNAS Culdrose were awarded the points after Threemilestone were unable to raise a side.
