IT was one of those days in the Kernow Stone St Piran League Premier Division when the weather came out on top and forced the postponement of every one of the fixtures.

Division one fared a little better with artificial pitches helping with two of the three fixtures that were played.

The big match was at Trevassack Park where Hayle Reserves and Mawnan fought out a 1-1 draw with veteran striker Dominic Pullen grabbing an 89th minute equaliser for Mawnan.

Camborne SoM hit top form against St Day Reserves to finish 6-0 winners with goals from Ed Swain (2), Rory Lello (2), Alex Chapman and James Isaacson, but Threemilestone’s problems continue after they had to concede their game at Ludgvan.

Bottom of the table St Agnes Reserves earned themselves a useful point following their 2-2 draw at West Cornwall. Monty Cloutman scored both goals for the home side.

There were no games in divisions two or three, but three of the six fixtures were played in division four with the biggest upset coming with leaders Penryn Athletic Reserves going down to an amazing 9-2 defeat at Pendeen Rovers Reserves. Kalon Mayes helped himself to four goals and Alex Ralph hit a hat-trick with Isaac Joy and Kyle Rees scoring the other goals.

Helston Raiders came close to snatching a point at Lizard Argyle Reserves after scoring through Anthony Scott, but they eventually went down 2-1.

Tom Corke scored for Constantine Reserves at St Just Reserves, but the home side did enough to run out 3-1 winners.

Dropship are through to the semi-finals of the Bond Timber Cornwall Junior Cup after a decisive 3-0 win against Bude Town Reserves.

All the damage was done in the first half with Dropship securing a three-goal lead.
Falmouth United’s tie at Pensilva and Stithians’ match at Biscovey were victims of the weather and will be played this Saturday.
