Falmouth United Football Club capped off a successful season with a fantastic awards day for their young players at Penryn Rugby Club.
Blessed with beautiful weather, the event offered a fun-filled atmosphere for families with ice cream vans, bouncy castles, food, and drinks, alongside the much-anticipated presentation of awards for the children.
This positive end to the season comes after another impressive year for the club. Falmouth United were runners-up in the Cornwall FA Grassroots Club of the Year Award last season and have impressively reached the final shortlist once again this year.
"The presentation day was a great day for all the players and parents, but also for the coaches who put so much effort in throughout the season," said club chairman Chris Wood.
"We have a fantastic team of volunteers at the club, and we are so happy to be able to offer so many people a platform to come and enjoy their football."
The celebrations don't stop there. To mark its 30th anniversary, Falmouth United is hosting a special social event at Falmouth Golf Club on June 1st.
This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for past players, coaches, and committee members to reunite and reminisce about the club's rich history.
Current players, coaches, and committee members will also be in attendance, creating a bridge between past and present.
The club looks ahead to the upcoming season with excitement, kicking off their 2024/2025 campaign in August at their familiar home ground, Penryn College.
