Helston Athletic top the Southern League South Division 1 after coming from behind to snatch a win over Bideford AFC.
The match, played at Kellaway Park, saw Helston rally from a first-half deficit to clinch victory in injury time.
Helston's Dylan Mitchell, making his starting debut, was named man of the match for his impressive performance throughout the 90 minutes.
Despite it being customary to receive a bottle of champagne, due to his age he received a fruit shoot instead - but don't worry, the bubbly went to his parents.
The young player also featured on the front cover of the match programme.
Helston's first opportunity came from a Smith effort that tested the Bideford keeper from a tight angle.
Three minutes later, ReeceThomson's shot, following a deft touch and turn under pressure, narrowly missed the post.
Bideford responded with a header that went over the crossbar after nine minutes.
As the game progressed, Bideford took the lead with a superb header just before half-time.
However, their advantage was short-lived as they were reduced to 10 men just three minutes later.
A rash challenge on Helston's Baga Mariko resulted in a straight red card for Bideford's number eight.
Jordan Copp came close to equalising for Helston in the 45th minute, hitting the crossbar.
The second half saw Bideford's keeper, Mike Searle, make two excellent saves in quick succession to deny Jack Crago and Reece Thomson.
Helston had a goal disallowed for offside and saw another Crago effort cleared off the line with 20 minutes to go.
Crago eventually found the net, scoring the equaliser after a determined chase for the ball.
Bideford's Searle continued to frustrate Helston, making another superb save with five minutes left on the clock.
As the game approached its conclusion, Helston's Crago scored again from distance, securing a 2-1 victory with roughly four minutes left.
The win puts Helston Athletic at the top of the league after five matches in the new season.
