00:93 FULL TIME: Chippenham have welcomed the ref's whistle. Truro have dominated from start to finish, and what will surely please manager Lee Hodges more than anything is the manner of their victory. Watkins and Smith have been rampant, and the vistors have been prevented from creating a single clear-cut chance. Truro cement their position at the top of the league.

00:89 Into the final minute, and Truro aren't finished yet. A lofted ball cross-field sees Smith take a touch and cut inside, but it's well cleared. Then moments later Afful latches on to a ball driven across goal but he fails to make a decent connection and Thomas gathers.

00:88 A free kick to Chippenham from just outside the box. It's high and seems to hang forever in the air, but Rice makes a clean catch.

00:84 Chippenham seeing more of the ball now, but it's too little too late. Alan Griffin has a shot from just outside the box after good work out wide from Allison, but it's easy for Rice.

00:83 Joe Broad tries an audacious lob from long range. It's going to take something special to beat the keeper from that far out. Thomas collects easily.

00:82 Chippenahm have enojoyed a little more possession in the last five minutes, but the balls goes up to their front men and are then cleared by City. A little frustration creeping in to the visitors' play as City are awarded another free kick.

00:81 Chippenahm sub James Martin is booked for having a nibble at Martin Watts deep in Truro's half. He can't really have any complaints about that.

00:79 Nick thomas once again comes barnstorming out of his box to make a clearance as Afful chases down yet another long ball.

00:78 GOAL TRURO! Martin Watts plays a lofted ball over the keeper who had come out of his box. Les Afful beat the back-pedalling defenders for pace to nod the ball home. That's the smallest man on the pitch by a mile scoring with his head. Would you credit it!

00:77 A great cross-field ball from Walker sets Dan Smith free on the right. He cuts inside his marker and delivers a low cross into the box, but Afful can't dig the ball out to get a shot off.

00:75 Watkins is replace by Afful. The City wide man really has run Chippenham ragged this evening, with most of the home side's best play going through him. Ash replaces Broad.

00:74 From the free kick, Watts blasts over.

00:73 Chippenham captain Ashley Williams leaves his foot in as he challenges Watkins on the edge of the box. Chippenham have been unable to deal with Truro's wide men all evening.

00:71 Harvey is replaced by Martin for Chippenham. Scott Walker takes over from Taylor in midfield for Truro. The armband passes to Adams for City.

00:65 The ball falls to Alan Griffin at the back post, he shoots from a tight angle but Rice makes a good save. From the corner the ball drops to Lewis Powell who blazes over. He should have done better.

00:62 Andy Taylor plays what looks like a great through ball for Adny Watkins, but the linesman raises a late flag and play is brought back for offside.

00:61 A shaky moment for Barry McConnell as he overhits his back-pass, but Rice sensibly puts the ball out for touch.

00:59 TRURO GOAL! Dan Smith, who let's face it isn't the biggest man on the pitch, manages to muscle his way past Chippenham's Luke Gullick. He darts into the box before cutting the ball back for Watkins who blasts in from close range to make it 4-0.

00:57 Chippenahm substitution. Daryl Taylor comes off to be replaced by Lewis Powell.

00:54 GOAL TRURO! Watkins capitalises on some defensive confusion and pounces on a loose ball. He takes it past two Chippenham defenders before squaring the ball for Yetton to tap in. It was almost a carbon copy of Yetton's earlier goal.

00:50 The final ball just doesn't seem to be there for Chippenham. Scott Lye makes a good run from midfield, but then slips and scuffs his pass straight to Rice. That just about sums it up for the visitors so far.

00:48 Dan Smith wins a free kick in the middle 25 yards out. Watts steps over the ball before blasting a free kick just over. That wasn't far off - bright start by Truro.

00:46 And we're back underway here at Treyew Road, with Truro attacking the clubhouse end.

00:45 Teams come out for the second half. There don't look to be any substitutions made by either manager.

00:45 Half time. Truro City 2-0 up and no more than they deserve. They have hit the woodwork twice, had a shot cleared off the line and missed a penalty by my reckoning it should be at least four-nil. Chippenham players will be getting a rollicking at half time. They have offered little up front so far the best chance falling to Marvin Brown, who shot wide from eight yards out.

00:43 Free-kick to Chippenham wide on the right. Or maybe not after Alan Griffin stands over the ball for a minute the official changes his mind gives a drop ball. Very confusing and Chippenham less than happy with that decision. The original free-kick seemed to have been given for a pass back to Rice.

00:41 GOAL: Danny Clay played a good through-ball for Andy Watkins. Chippenham defenders playing a high line are beaten by the City striker's pace and when one-on-one with the keeper he slots an accurate shot into the bottom left hand corner.

00:39 Chippenham getting a bit more play in the Truro half now, but still offering little in terms of goalmouth action.

00:35 Sam Allison is booked for a late challenge on Martin Watts.

00:33 GOAL - Truro have the goal their play deserves. Great work by Watkins down the left as he beats two players before drawing the keeper out of goal. He then squares a pass to Yetton, who has got up in support and he side foots a shot home.

00:33 Allan Griffin heads off target for Chippenham at the back post. The striker was under pressure.

00:30 How Truro are not in front I don't know. Watkins beats two defenders on the right before crossing the ball into the middle for Yetton, who on the edge of the six yard box sends a header that Nick Thomas tips onto the bar. It bounces down and the ball is cleared.

00:28 Ashley Williams swears at the referee following a foul by Smith, who ois given a talking to. Iain Harvey is then booked for a foul on Stewart Yetton. Harvey runs over to argue with the referee and is sent away, but without a booking.

00:25 A throw from the right is played to Andrew Taylor, who from the corner of the area turns and hits a shot against the corner fo the upright. Still no goal, but still Truro dominate the proceedings so far.

00:21 MISSED PEN: Dan Smith fouled on the right by Ashley Williams. The free-kick is played into the box where Smith is fouled again by Daryl Taylor running away from goal. However McConnell sends the ball wide of the right hand post. Normally reliable from the spot but that was a bad miss. Truro need a goal to show for their dominance as well.

00:18 Dan Smith runs onto a loose ball and fires a low drive two feet wide of Thomas' right hand post. It was hit with power but lacked accuracy.

00:15 First good chance for Chippenham as the ball bounces off Arran Pugh in the area and falls to Marvin Brown. Adams goes to close him down, but the striker curls an effort with the outside of his boot a foot wide of the goal. He should have perhaps done better with that effort from eight yards out and is annoyed with himself.

00:13 Ball over the top by dany Clay finds Watkins, whose shot is saved at the near post. Corner is delivered to Yetton in the box and he sends a volley goalwards, which the Nick Thomas does well to parry round the post. The shot had plenty of power and Truro are making all the early running here.

00:12 Martin Watts boots the ball out of his six yard box as Chippenham attack down the left through former City player Marvin Brown. No shot at goal for the visitors yet though.

00:08 Stewart Yetton charges down Chippenham goalkeeper's Nick Thomas' clearance, that goes out of play on the right. The energy from the City players early on has been good.

00:05 Danny Clay plays the ball down the right and Andy Watkins crosses to the back post where Dan Smith sees his shot on the volley saved. The corner is played in and flicked on by Arran Pugh to Watkins, whose shot is headed off the line. Bright start by Truro who have started at a lively pace, moving the ball quickly.

00:02 Martin Rice kicks widely into touch. A couple of early errors from Truro City. But then a free-kick is floated to the back post and the keeper collects well.

00:00 Kicked off here with Chippenham attacking the clubhouse end.

Not that many through the gates at Treyew Road so far. It's a cold winter's night but no chance of a Hayles storm this evening. Barry's abscence is likely to be a big loss for City and will certainly increase the visitors' confidence of getting a result. Chippenham name former City player Marvin Brown in their starting line-up. He scored on his debut on Saturday. Kick-off five minutes away.

Chippenham Town: Nick Thomas, Ashley Williams, Luke Gullick, Alex Kite, Greg Kindle, Daryl Taylor, Scott Lye, Sam Allison, Alan Griffin, Marvin Brown, Iain Harvey. Substitutes: Lewis Powell, Nathan Rudge, James Martin, Kevin Halliday.

Truro City: Martin Rice, Barry McConnell, Martin Watts, Arran Pugh, Steve Adams, Danny Clay, Andrew Taylor (c), Joe Broad, Stewart Yetton, Andrew Watkins, Dan Smith. Substitutes: Jake Ash, Scott Walker, Alex Jeannin, Les Afful, Tom Brooks (gk).

Team News in: Barry Hayles misses the match. The former Fulham striker is on a course this week apparently. As this game has been a re-arranged fixture, this was orignally a free week. Hodges has kept his abscence quiet in the lead up to the match.
