The result from Porthleven FC’s game with Dobwalls, which was abandoned 12 minutes from time last Saturday, will stand the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League has ruled.
The match was called off in torrential rain with the score at 1-1 - a result which will now stand.
The Peninsula Board have made one condition to that decision in That if on April 15, 2011 the two additional points would place either side into a prize money position then the game may be re-staged on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.
“Both clubs have expressed satisfaction with that decision which means the the table will now amended to show a 1-1 draw from last Saturday’s game at Gala Parc and the two goalscorers entered on the league’s list,” said a spokesman for the League.
