The ref looks at his watch and that's it! FULL TIME, SUDBURY WIN 1-2. Truro are disconsolate, after a mediocre performance which saw the home side have plenty of possession but fail to make any of it count. Sudbury started the game at pace, with their front men causing City's back four all kinds of trouble. But the second half was all Truro who missed several golden opportunities to put the game beyond their opponents. City's focus will now turn to the league and their next game against Stourbridge.

00:91 And Truro hit the post! Watts with a screamer of a free kick from 25 yards out. The keeper can do nothing but watch as the ball cannons back off the upright. That's the second time City have hit the woodwork!

00:90 Free kick to Truro just outside the Sudbury box as Marcus Martin is brought down cynically by Wignall. He's been Sudbury's best player this afternoon but he may turn villain if City can do something from here.

00:89 Sudbury are finishing much the stronger - they really have their tails up after the goal. Rice is forced to make a good save diving to his left from Clarke after the City centre backs backed off him allowing him time to shoot.

00:85 GOAL SUDBURY!1-2: And the sub Emmanuel plays a huge part in it. He receives the ball wide on the left before fashioning a yard of space to get his cross in. Rushing in unmarked at the back post is Wareham who blasts a first time volley past Rice. They've been under the cosh for most of the half, Sudbury. What a turnaround!

00:83 Emmanuel is on for Sudbury, and he certainly looks like he has some pace. Rice has to rush out to cover for Adams with the winger bearing down on him.

00:80 Hayles is making a real nuisance of himself. Another dunny on the edge of the box sees his marker commit himself early. McConnell drifts the free kcik in to the box, but Eyre's does well to palm it away. Truro pressing hard for the win now.

00:79 GOAL TRURO!: Afful curls his corner into the six yard box where Pugh's lurking. He glances a header to the back post and that man Barry Hayles is there to toe poke the ball between Eyre's legs. Nothing more than Truro deserve to be honest. 1-1

00:78 Yet more sterling last-gasp defending from Sudbury as McConnell storms into the box before squaring it for Walker. Sudbury throw bodies in front of it and his shot is blocked for a corner.

00:76 Afful has looked really lively since coming on. Once again he knocks the ball past Sinfield and beats the defender for pace before delivering a cross into the box. Walker gets underneath hi header though.

00:73 Danny Clay's been going toe to toe with Sudbury captain Sam Clarke all afternoon, and finally it boils over after the Sudbury player refuses to release the ball after Truro are awarded a free kick. The ref has a quiet word.

00:66 Afful is fouled but the ref plays the advantage. Then for some unknown reason he brings play back just as Afful releases an unmarked Walker in the box. The City players are furious - that's a poor decision.

00:65 A second corner in a row for City. Sudbury have defended everything Truro have thrown at them in the air, with Wignall a commanding presence all game.

00:63 Some strange decisions by the ref in the last few minutes. Pugh, who's a foot taller than the player he's marking, gets booked for climbing, then Afful is floored by his marker, Darg, who's all over him. Still Truro looking the more dangerous, as Hayles is fouled wide on the left. Free kick.

00:58 Dan Smith loops another cross in to the back post, but three City players go up for it and the ball pops out for a goal kick. Where was the shout? Afful and Ash on for Walker and Smith. It's a shame, it looked like Dan Smith was starting to look dangerous.

00:56 Danny Clay harshly penalised for a strong challenge on Wareham. The Sudbury player went to ground a little too easily there.

00:54 Dan Smith getting into the game now as he slips his marker once again to deliver a dangerous deep cross to the back post. Martin tries to keep it in but it drifts out for s goal kick

00:52 It's all Truro at the moment as the home side flood forward looking for an equaliser. Attendance for today is a respectable 349.

00:48 City having lots of the ball early on, but there's a Sudbury free kick to defend just inside their own half. Clarke's offisde for the visitors.

00:46 Early chance for City as Hayles wins a free kick on the byline. Watts whips it in, but that man Wignall clears again.

00:45 Well, that's me told. Joe Broad goes off and on comes mid-week penalty hero Marcus Martin. Martin also takes the captain's armband. We're underway again.

A full compliment of Truro subs out for a half-time kickabout wearing what can only be described as romper suits. It suggests Lee Hodges will stick with the same side for the start of the second half. Players just trickling out now.

00:49 HALF TIME: And City will be disappointed not to go in at least level after a number of close chances. Sudbury manager Nicky Smith will be pleased by how much trouble the visitors have caused Truro. They've looked dangerous going forward and somehow kept a clean sheet going into the break. City have had a number of gilt-edged opportunities to level the score, and perhaps should have done better with Stewart Yetton's header when unmarked the pick of the bunch. But there's another 45 minutes left to play, and the question remains as to whether their lower league opponents can maintain the kind of pace and endeavour they showed in the first half. It's 0-1 here at Treyew Road.

00:48 And right at the death another chance for City as a goal mouth scramble sees shots from Broad, Hayles then Smith cleared off the line. Nothing going the home side's way so far.

00:47 Another near miss for City. Hayles once again holds the ball up well on the edge of the box before relasing Smith out wide. His cross finds Broad ghosting in late at the back post, but the City captain can't keep his header down. It's getting a little niggly here.

00:45 A Truro free kick on the left is once again cleared by Sudbury's Jack Wignall, who's having a great game at the back for the visitors. He's been imperious in defence so far.

00:43 Mcconnell with a perfefctly timed tackle wide on the left that has Sudbury complaining. Nothing wrong with it says the ref, and he's right. Townrow goes down injured but he's OK to carry on.

00:40 Joe Broad hits the bar! Hayles muscles his way into the box on the left again, brushing off a dubious challenge on his way. He plays the ball to Broad on the edge of the box who batters a shot goalwards, but it hits the bar flush and cannons out. Close for Truro.

00:38 Dan Smith has been anonymous this first half. The city flyer usually sees much more of the ball. City could do with a bit of Smith magic at the moment.

00:36 How will Truro react, that's the question. For large chunks of the game they've been second best. Another City corner comes to nothing.

00:35 GOAL SUDBURY 0-1: Well, they've been threatneing it and it's finally come. Another break and Townrow realeases Wareham wide on the right. He cuts inside and beats Adams for pace before slotting the ball comfortably past Rice. City will need to get to grips with Sudbury's forward men and quickly.

00:31 What a save Martin Rice. Sudbury break quickly with Darg, he dinks a high ball into the box and Townrow connects with a towering header. They think it's in, but Rice dives low to his left to paw it past the post.

00:28 Hayles latches on to a scuffed pass into the box from Broad, he turns his defender but slices his shot and it's easy for the keeper.

00:22 Sudbury certainly making agame of this, and although City have had more of the ball the visitors still look dangerous on the break.

00:20 Sudbury captain Sam Clarke will certainly feel that in the morning. Joe Broad is on the receiving end of a strong tackle, Sudbury win the ball and the incensed Broad races back and clatters into Clarke, sending him sprawling. Broad earns himself a yellow. Silly challenge.

00:14 A throw deep on the left finds Barry Hayles in the box. He sells the Sudsbury centre back an outrageous dummy on his way to the byline before cutting it back. Danny Clay's rushing in but his thundering right-footed drive is blocked by a defender. Hayles rolling back the years there.

00:10 Scott Walker chases a lost cause and wins a corner. Watts takes it, and finds Hayles in the box. The former Fulham finds a yard of space to get his shot off, but it's just wide.

00:7 Sudbury looking dangerous on the break as once again striker Lee Townrow beats Aaron Pugh for pace down the right. He cuts the ball back but City clear. The game's started at lightning pace.

00:06 So close for City! Yetton is brought down on the edge of the box. Scott Walker whips in a wicked free kick into a crowd of players, the ball bounces free to Yetton just inside the six yard box but his shot is acrobatically parried of the line by Eyre.

00:04 An early warning for City as Sudbury forward Tom Webb plays a beautifully weighted through ball for Townrow. He's through on goal but Rice storms out to make a good save with his legs. Sudbury looking lively.

00:02 And we're off, with Sudbury wearing all yellow shooting towards the clubhouse.

Truro with their customary pre-match huddle. Marcus Martin mentioned how important team spirit has been this season during his BBC interview earlier this week, and without a doubt it's played a huge part in City's success so far.

And the teams are out, Truro have Joe Broad as captin this afternon, which I believe makes him Truro's fourth captin of the season so far.

But the real news from Treyew road as we approcah kick-off is that it's not raining - and after the mightmarish conditions of Tuesday night that's a welcome relief.

CITY: Rice; McConnell, Watts, Pugh, Adams, Clay, Walker, Broad (c), Yetton, Hayles, Smith SUBS: Jeannin; Brooks, Ash, Martin, Afful AFC SUDSBURY: Eyre; Sinfield, Swain, Clarke (c), Wignall, Wareham, Darg, Townrow, Webb, Wareham, Devaux SUBS: Howe, Emmanuel, Henshaw, Douglas

Teams news just in, and Truro start with a largely unchanged side from Tuesday's rain-soaked encounter with Salisbury. Andy Watkins is rested after tweaking his groin during the week, so Barry Hayles comes into the lineup. Marcus Martin said in a mid-week interview that Truro had no 'given right' to win, and that sentiment is echoed in Lee Hodges team selection with City fielding a strong side.
