00;90 Less than a minute of stoppage time played and the referee calls the game to an end. City took their chances well, especailly Martin and Hayles in the first half. I've seen City create more chances at home against teams this season, but they were clinical this afternoon. Credit must go to visitors, who for large parts defended well and were not torn apart like some sides lower down the league have been here this season.

00:88 Tiverton are still pushing men forward though leaving them exposed at the back. It was almost four on two for Truro as they attacked the visitors then still it came to nothing. Ahd cheers are now greeting the City passes.

00:85 Truro are just content with passing the ball around at the minute. Marcus Martin has been named man-of-the-match in what looks like its going to be a 3-0 win for City. Can't see another goal in this game.

00:81 Nothing much being created by either side at the moment. You have to think that Truro, who have not been at their best today, have been good enough to win this one. Thomas Gardner has just been booked for a challenge on Scott Walker.

00:79 Eleven minutes left and it is the visitors at the minute who are pushing forward for a way back into the match.

00:75 However the attacking tactics could also bring goals for Tiverton (see 72) as Ashley Yeoman feeds the ball into Joseph Bushin, who having stole a yard on Jake Ash fires a shot at goal from the edge of the area. Rice continues his impressive performance though by palming the ball away for a corner. Adam Mortimer has just come on for Michael Nardiello for Tiverton.

00:72 Tiverton push nine players up towards the City box for a free-kick. The move breaks down and City attempt to hit them on the counter, but they are unsuccessful. Could be more goals for City in this though if Tiverton continue with this tactic.

00:68 A great cross-field ball from Martin Watts finds Joe Broad in acres of room on the right. He crosses to the back post, where Walker's shot is blocked Ed Plamer from close-range.

00:65 GOAL That should be game set and match for Truro. Draper dived full length to tip a Marcus Martin shot round the post. The resulting corner is cleared, but Scott Walker then floats and accuarte cross to the back post, where Marcus Martin side-footed a volley past Draper from about seven yards out.

00:63 Substitution for Truro City Joe Broad comes on for Dan Smith. That looks like a defensive-minded change from Hodges. However Smith, admitedly by his own high standards, as been noticable quiet today.

00:60 Substitute for Tiverton as Joseph Bushin comes on for Russell Jee.

00:57 A good chance for Tiverton to put the game back in the balance as Michael Nardiello is allowed to ghost in behing the Truro defence. However, when one-on-one with Rice he blasts a shot straight at the keeper. It was a good save from Rice, but he really should have scored.

00:54 Hayles plays the ball into Smith as he breaks down the right. The ex-Plymouth Argyle winger slices a shot wide of the near post though. It is comfortable for City at the minute but they are still not creating a great deal of chances, like they did in home matches against Chippenham and Halesowen earlier in the season. A total of 639 through the gates here today, the majority of which I think would like to see City start to create a bit more goalmouth action.

00:50 A Scott Walker cross from the left drops onto the Tiverton crossbar. I don't think he meant to shoot from there, but it almost embarrassed Draper in the visitors goal. It was fortunate the rebound didn't fall to the lurking Hayles as well.

00:48 Quiet start to the second half. Tiverton look to be more willing to throw a few men further forward though with Gardner pushing forward down the left wing. Might create a few more chances for both sides in this second half, but none as of yet.

00:45 Second half has begun with Truro City attacking the clubhouse end. They have made a couple of changes with Andy Watkins and Stev Adams being replaced by Jake Ash and Scott Walker. Hodges has given the two players injured at the start of the season a half to try and win their place back in the starting line-up. Tiverton have also brought on Thomas Gardner for Ryan Turner.

00:45 A good first half for City as they aim to stretch their lead at the top of the table. Tiverton managed to contain the home side for large parts of the first half, but were undone by a lapse in concentration from a corner. Hayles managed to lose his marker and made them pay. City then pushed forward in search of a second and it was another good cross from Taylor that provided it. Martin placed his header just as well as Hayles did earlier, leaving the Tiverton keeper Draper, who has had to make only one other decent stop, with no chance of saving.

00:41 GOAL Five minutes to go until half time and Watkins jinks his way past a couple of challenges into the visitors box. He over-hits the chipped pass into the middle to Hayles though and a good chance goes begging. Not to matter though as moments later Taylor provides a perfect cross from the left and another good header from Marcus Martin finds the bottom corner. He out-jumped the Tiverton centre-half, Jak Martin, who starting from a standing position, couldn't beat Martin's running jump.

00:35 Watts crosses from the left and Hayles sends another header at goal. This time it is a foot or two wide. Truro could do with another goal before half time and are pushing Smith and Taylor forward down the wings. The visitors are defending well though.

00:33 Good spell of play for City now and they should be 2-0 up. Danny Clay crucnhes into a tackle to win the ball just outside the Tiverton box. He then plays a ball into Taylor's, whose shot from 12 yards out is well blocked by Draper. The rebound fall to Watkins, but his shot is blocked by a defender and Tiverton clear.

00:29 GOAL Truro City have the lead and it's a great finish from Barry Hayles. Andrew Taylor floats a corner to the back post, where Hayles has lost his marker. He doesn't have a lot of goal to aim at though, with two covering defenders in front of him, but the former Fulham man glances a header into the top right-hand corner.

00:26 Dan Smith sends in a speculative shot from 30-yards out, but it is straight at Draper who saves with ease.

00:24 Truro hit back with a chance of their own. Andrew Taylor swings a corner into the near post. Arran Pugh challenges for the ball, but only gets a slight contact on the header and the ball finds its way to the back post, where Adams side foots a shot just wide of the left-hand post. It was a difficult shot to control, but he'll be disappointed he didn't hit the target.

00:21 Truro have had the better of the opening 20 minutes in terms of territory, but the best chance has just fell to Tiverton as a free-kick is played into the back post and met by the head of Ashley Yeoman. His effort was dipping just under the bar, but Rice pulls off a good save to tip it over the bar.

00:14 The niggle continues in the game as Ed Palmer clatters into Marcus Martin as he breaks into the Tiverton half. The Truro midfielder had already passed the ball forward and Palmer's challenge was very late and he rightly goes into the referee's notebook for a yellow card.

00:12 Watkins wins a free-kick in the right corner of Tiverton's half. Martin Watts swings the ball into the near post, but Draper catches the shot on his line. Truro applying a bit of pressure though, not seen much from Tiverton since those three early corners.

00:09 Danny Clay and Dan Smith do well to win the ball back in the Tiverton half. Watkins then plays a pass into Marcus Martin on the edge of the box, but he scuffs his shot and it goes harmlessly through to Ryan Draper in the home goal.

00:06 A little niggle in the game already as Danny Clay and clashes with Russell Jee and then Marcus Martin goes down clutching his head following an aerial challenge with Kevin Hill, who is given a talking to by the referre.

00:05 With Truro down to ten men as Watkins recieves treatment off the pitch, Tiverton force three corners in succession. However, they don't manage to get a shot on target.

00:02 Watkins recieves a knock to the head in the middle of the park. Truro have began the game at a high tempo in a 4-3-3 formation.

00:00 Teams are out at Treyew Road. A well observed minute's silence is held for Barry Pascoe, by a good-sized crowd here at Truro. Tiverton will be attacking the clubhouse end under blue skies, but cold conditions.

Tiverton Town: Ryan Draper, Ian Sampson, Alex Faux, Kevin Hill, Ed Palmer, Jak Martin (c), Liam Ellis, Ryan Turner, Michael Nardiello, Ashley Yeoman, Russell Jee. Substitutes: Joseph Bushin, Adam Mortimer, David Steele, Thomas Gardiner, Jamie Hatch.

Truro City: Martin Rice, Barry McConnell, Martin Watts, Arran Pugh, Steve Adams, Danny Clay, Andrew Taylor, Marcus Martin (c), Barry Hayles, Andrew Watkins, Dan Smith. Substitutes: Alex Jeannin, Scott Walker, Jake Ash, Joe Broad, Stewart Yetton.

A familar look to the Truro City line-up today as Arran Pugh partners Steve Adams at the back and Jake Ash has to be content with a place on the bench. Les Afful is the only player to miss out as he was injured in the last match against Windsor and Eton.
