Falmouth Town's hopes of finishing in the top four prize money spots in the CSWPL premier division were dealt a blow as they were beaten 4-2 away at Torpoint Athletic.

It means fourth-placed Torpoint are now seven points clear of Falmouth, although they have played one game more.

Adam Carter grabbed two goals for Athletic with the other goals coming from Liam Thorton and Josh Grant. Town's replies came from Mark Vercesi.

Buckland remain ten points clear at the top as they beat Saltash United 4-0. Danny Gaze (2) Liam Moseley and Danny Lewis got the goals.

Bodmin stayed in touch with the leaders though as former Falmouth Town striker Danny O'Hagan scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Cullompton.
