Following the Cornish Pirates 36-7 points win against Loughborough Students in their opening pre-season 'friendly', they know a much sterner test awaits away at Sandy Park against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday (ko 3pm).
Former 'Pirate' Carl Rimmer could well feature for Rob Baxter's side, who were a little disappointed after their narrow 8-6 home defeat against Connacht last weekend, whilst in the Pirates selection Junior Fatialofa and Tom Bedford are named to line up against one of their former teams.
The Cornish Pirates selection is as follows:- Cornish Pirates: M. Evans, G. Pointer, A. Cheesman, J. Fatialofa, T. Bedford, K. Hallett, T. Kessell, B. Maidment, P. Burgess, K. Marriott (capt), G. Johnson, D. Lyons, A. Paver, R. Elloway, P. Andrew. Replacements: R. Storer, D. Semmens, B. Prescott, D. Barry, G. Cattle, A. Penberthy, T. Riley.
Tickets: The Chiefs also have their 'Open Day' on Saturday, running from 11am - 2pm, which is included in the 'all pay' ticket price for the match. Tickets for the game are available on-line from the Exeter Chiefs website www.exeterchiefs.com, or through the Trading Post which is open Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm. The Ticket Office will also be open on Saturday from 10.30am.
Areas available for the game are in the West Grandstand (Adult, Child £20), South West Communications Stand (Adult £10, Student £10, Child U-16 £5) and East Terrace (Adult £8, Student £8, Child U-16 £5).
