Falmouth Town won the Aubrey Wilkes Trophy on Tuesday night as they beat Conference South side Truro City at Bickland Park.
Truro took the lead midway through the first half when new signing Sean Johnston rifled a shot home from inside the area.
However, Town hit back almost immediatley as Craig Duff crossed for denutant Ian Hodges to hit a close-range shot past Martin Rice.
Hodges, who signed for Falmouth having played for Conference South side Hampton and Richmond last season, then put the home side in front as he hit a first time shot, from outside the area, past Rice, following a good long ball from Dan Green.
Then on the stroke of half-time Falmouth made it 3-1 as Matt Drummond volleyed home, following a corner.
Truro City did pull a goal back with an excellent strike from Dan Smith, but despite some late pressure they could not find an equaliser.
