NON-GOLFING ladies have been invited to a free “get into golf day” at Falmouth Golf Club on Sunday, May 17.

Falmouth Golf Club ladies’ section and the club’s professional, Nick Rogers, will be running an 11-hole competition, pairing non-golfers with a Falmouth Golf Club lady member to introduce local non-golfing ladies to the game of golf. The golfer will play all the shots from tee to green and then the non-golfing lady will take over and putt the last few shots.

The day will start at 1pm with a bit of a get-together, then all the non-golfing ladies will be given a quick putting lesson with the club professional. After this the competition will start, with two lady golfers teeing off with two non-golfers and playing 11 holes, but also walking around and enjoying the fantastic views our stunning golf course has to offer.

After playing golf tea, coffee and tea cakes will be available in the clubhouse and the winning pairs will each receive prizes.

If you are interested in the day and would like to put your name down, phone ladies’ captain Sally Ingle on 01326 312303 or club professional Nick Rogers on 01326 311262.

The day is completely free of charge.
