Royal Ascot hero Nola Soul is set to return to action in the Coolmore Stud City Of Troy Tom Cooper Irish EBF Futurity Stakes at the Curragh next weekend.
A winner on his Leopardstown debut in mid-May, the Justify colt followed up in the following month’s Chesham Stakes to become trainer Fozzy Stack’s first winner at the Royal meeting.
A second success followed just two days later with Thesecretadversary in the Jersey, but while the latter has since struck Group One gold in the Prix Jean Prat, Nola Soul has been kept fresh for the second half of the season.
“He’s coming along good and all going according to plan he’ll go to the Futurity a week on Saturday,” said Stack.
“He’s got stronger and done well since Ascot. He’s a big horse and is filling out the whole time, so hopefully he can go and run a good race at the Curragh.”
