PHILL James went one step further than last year as he managed to win the Three Tuns Darts Open competition in St Keverne.

The pub held the tournament for the second time in its history with a good turnout of players descending on the venue and plenty of high quality arrows being thrown.

When the contest was held in 2014, James finished as runner-up but this time round he dominated at the oche to win the trophy ahead of Rob Ruberry.

Other prizes went to Dawn McKay who won the furthest lady competition while Ruberry claimed the highest checkout award with a fantastic 145 to go along with a 180 he hit during the night.
