JUNIOR rugby players from Falmouth and Camborne’s Under 13 sides got the chance to stretch their legs out at the Recreation Ground on Sunday.

The teams met at Falmouth and played on the senior side’s pitch, providing plenty of space for both squads to run around in.

As expected, Camborne threw the ball around which eventually got the scoreboard ticking over.

The Cherry and Whites well drilled forwards dominated their counterparts to keep the ball alive before spreading it around their backs.

Falmouth’s defence proved to be resilient throughout the match, but breaches did appear for Camborne to score.

In the second half, the hosts showed good hussle and determination to make it a more even affair as the visiting players found possession and territory harder to gain.

Despite the lopsided score, both sets of players enjoyed the outing and joined forces for a group picture at the end, pictured below.
