AWARDS were handed out to Penryn's Under 10 side on Friday evening.

Each player was given a prize to say thank you for their efforts over the season, with extra awards going to several other stars in the squad.

Best Newcomer went to Millie Osman while Most Improved was given to Harry Julian.

Toby Pointon was awarded Team Player of the Year and George Edson collected the Coaches Player gong.

Parents Player was won by Billy Jordan and Luke Whitford claimed the Players' Player prize.

Joining the team on the night were Exeter Chiefs coach Marek Churcher, who was assistant coach for Borough's senior side last season.

England U20s hooker Jack Innard, who is dual-registered with Exeter and the Cornish Pirates, also attended the event and spoke to players about playing rugby professionally.
