Two more family homes are being proposed for the site of a former pumping station in Falmouth.
Planning permission already exists for a flat, three houses and a workshop on the site at Marlborough Avenue. The latest application seeks consent for two back-to-back houses on the remaining part of the site, along with parking and private gardens.
The application is being supported by Falmouth’s planning committee, whose chairman Diana Merrett said: “It will clean up a very, very untidy area. We supported the last plan and I think we should support this one.”
The application, from Wendy Devereux and Joseph Hope-Devereux, will be determined by Cornwall Council.
